Do you remember the show on TV called "Watch Mr Wizard"? I saw some reruns on the Science Channel this weekend.
They had him doing a commentary between shows.......he's still around.......87 years old. Check these out:

Yes, I remember watching Mr. Wizard.
That is what television was supposed to be about.

Its scary to think I've been around long enough to remember Mr. Wizard.
Golly gee, dropping dry ice into water to make fog.
My god, help, I'm getting old!!!!!
Or is that better?
We've been doing so much, for so long, with so little, that now we can do almost anything, with nothing at all.

Well...beats the alternative! No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.
For those who have fought for it, freedom has a sweetness the protected will never know.

He explained how the kids he used on the show were all professional actors. they rehearsed each show once at his office in New York and a second time before the cameras in the studio before they did a taping. He said the kids were instructed to remember their first reactions so they could act them out during taping.Originally posted by Diceman

on fire and dropped them in the jug set the baloon over the opening and it creates a vaccum and sucks the baloon in
i was in advanced science class and the teacher said it was ok to use the fire in school
i cant remeber the principals behind it but it works
