I am looking for something to make coil repairs with. Non brasing, non soldering.

I dont have a problem with making coil repairs. I have been sucessful using the low temp solder kit on ALUMINUM. But my skill is best in epoxy repairs.

I have a tremendous sucess rate. But my holes to patch have usually been small ones.

I would imagine that with all the breakthroughs in chemistry today, we would have something we could simply clean the pipe, paint this stuff on, apply either some heat or a second chemical to for a reaction like a catalyst ...then it's ready to return to service.

Has anyone found something simple and sucessful?

There's some stuff you may find at your supply house (I can't remember the name of it). Anyway, it comes in a green stick form and you lightly heat the aluminum and then rub the stick over hole and build it up. It is some form of epoxy. I've had success with this stuff on refrigerator coils. Also have run across aluminum rods that work pretty good.

This isn't what I have used but it may work
