I'll be 45 in May...Don't get me wrong, I am not a Nobama supporter or a fan of Congress in general. I hear the complaints but no answers to the problem. Nobama and others like him will be elected by the Have-nots until a drastic change happens. A change we can believe in!

I agree. I think the USA will slip into socialism of the western European type. That does seem to be the winning political model. I am not happy about it, just being honest with my opinion and observation. It has been in progress for a long time already.

You said, "no answers to the problem" and "until a drastic change happens". Well there are indeed answers, but they all represent drastic change... and highly unlikely by my estimation.

The Drastic Change is what nobody will talk about or be willing to be associated with anytime soon.

Historically speaking, I agree to a degree. It beats the heck out of dictatorships, religious rule, and anarchy. Short term it is a win. Note that I said is a winning political model, not economic or freedom or growth model.

If you look at it long term, the socialist model ain't lookin so dandy. In historical terms, mind you. Socialist Europe is the best standing model, and they are being absorbed by muslims whom would embrace a radical religious rule. There is evidence of that sentiment in Canada and the USA too. In the end, long term, socialism fails on a number of points.

Communists use the same basic economic model, but they have the harsher percentage of 'take' and can apply it to the military,... this does not bode well for socialists either. There have been big bad communist regimes but no socialists regimes unless you count Germany but they went through a period of early conquest rather than becoming an economic power. And that basically fell into dictatorship, socialist vulnerability too.

Socialist consume everything they gain, hence the deteriorated socialist europe against the bigger players. Bad manufacturing and labor competitors.

Our founding fathers understood the personal value of capitalism and freedom, as it affects the heart and mind of every individual. Those principals were intertwined into national law and USA became the surprising jewel of planet Earth. We are tossing it for the intellectual inferiority of our least contributors for the sake of political votes.

I can not say that this is an example of social economics since there is no other country where having children with multiple non supporting fathers is rewarded by the government.
Why there was no criticism of this abuse before Obama came to the picture?
It is been going on through republican and democratic watch alike.
Your absoultely correct, Sigma. It has ben going on a long time. I don't even know for sure when the law was changed to pay for the additional children.
But, up to now, most changes were small, seperate changes where people did not recognize the true impact of the legislation ( another concern of Obamacare ).
But with Obama, he has brought socialism to the forefront, by trying to make sweeping 'changes'.
The total unrest & termoil that Obama has created now results in a large enough group / groups of Americans that are banding together ( can you say Tea Parties ) to bring these & other continual problems to the forefront.
IOW: Since we now have a decent size 'voice', we are bringing up ALL socialistic ideas that have been 'forced' upon the middle class.
Obama has brought together the middle class in a way no one ( especially himself ) thought possible.
We may now even be able to have a NAAWP started with 'socialism' as the watchword that will unite us.
( As the NAACP has 'race' as their watchword to bring their members together ).
    Thanks, Obama....
