    I cut this off of a job about a week ago. The dealer complained that we gave him a bad TXV. I love the solder job, looks like a melted candle! And it still leaked!
    I don't know why this TXV doesn't work? We must have sold him a bad one!

    I can tell it's bad just by looking at the picture!

    Looks like the guy was desparate. Even put some heat on the element to keep it from heat sinking

    Seen worse once. When you find one that looks like that but someone has used 95/5 tin/antimony solder, that's when it's really bad.
