Irongrill ... I can tell a whole lot about you just by your question.

First of all, your NOT from the South!

It dont mean I know WHERE your from ... but I jus know you aint from around here!
Cus if you was ... you woulda replied something like this: "Oh, you mean y'all have a special tool jus for that... we use vice-grips ourselves!"

Somebody told you about their being such a tool. And you trusted them. And you asked a question.
That's kinda special and unique. Men dont ask directions and about tools, we dont usually ask what their for. We just want them for the sake of having them. The more the merrier.

So your probably in school. This also tells me your not from the South. Down here, folks usually jus do whatever their Daddy's did for a living.
    I can prove it.

Since your in school, your thinking about your future. This is good.
Since you chose HVAC/R ... it tells me you spoke with someone whose never done Market Refrigeration before.
So either they arent gona be teaching you that facet of the industry ... or they'll pray you never go that far just to make a buck!

Welcome to the forum community. We all enjoy ourselves here, nearly every night. We poke fun at one another and even ourselves from time to time.

Heck .. jus go look at the picture on "I should have kept my mouth shut!" thread.

    It is very demanding.

R-12 must be a yankee .............just playin'

I'm not from south but we kind of act like it around here.

At least we agree that there is no such thing as too many tools.
