I am not a Trane guy but I would cycle power on the Zone controller.
I was browsing through a tracer summit site at a nursing home and found comm loss on about 10 wireless zone dampers. Found the controller for the dampers green lites are on. Input output board has power. Tried looking at them through the summit . How do I bring the communication back online. Could there be another panel I am missing. The bldg people didnt know the zones were not communicating.

Whats not communicating, T'stats to controllers or controllers to BCU? If its the t'stats then check the batteries otherwise you have a problem in the comm line.

on the tracer summit it just show question marks and comm loss for the dampers. I cycled power to the board the dampers are terminated at. I will have to dig allitle deeper.
We have seen that interfearance can cause problems on wireless controls. Light fixtures and transformers are bad for wireless communications. Wired is better in this case.
There are no wireless zone dampers. Communication with the controller will always be wired. There can be a wireless zone sensor but that won't cause ??? to show up on your controller. I have to assume that you have a VAV controller of some type. If it's an older job - before about 2005 - they'll almost certainly be Trane VAV II/III/IV controller boards with yellow "idiot lights" on them that flash a couple times a second and more rapidly when they receive data. If they're on continuously it means the wires are reversed (link is polarity-sensitive). The link light is CR1 or CR2 depending on the "vintage" of the board.
