New tool for my work truck.

    Fooled you!

Picked this baby up today after waiting 2 weeks for my paperwork to clear. Wanted to share it with you fellow gun types that might appreciate it. Gonna take her to the range to shoot it soon I hope.

It's a FNH PS90 carbine. It is chambered in 5.7x28mm. Very compact and light-weight. Wanted to get it with the original short barrel, but you have to have a permit for that.

That right there is why I do my best to keep from buyin any guns. Because there's 100's of really cool one's and I'd end up with one of each lol

I bet it's a blast to shoot. Hope it's not to expensive to feed it.

The magazine I have holds 30 rounds, but you can get them in full military load which is fifty. And yes, FNH did design the weapon to be used by tank crews, body guards, anti-terrorist units and such. It was designed as a personal defense weapon. It uses the 5.7x28mm round, which is unique to this carbine and the FiveSeven pistol. It is a small round, but ballistics data shows it is nasty when it hits you. As of right now, only the military and law enforcement agencies can use the full load ammo which has been deemed armor piercing and will go through a ballistic vest. The civilian population gets stuck with the weaker sporting round. As for price, the ammo is comparable to say, 5.56x45mm (.223) at that it can cost you about $400.00 for a 1000 rounds. You have to hunt for it to get it cheap. And it sells out quick as the PS90 is very popular. It also has a very low recoil. So wimps can shoot it if they're afraid of hurting their delicate shoulders.
