I haven't forgotten. I think about it everyday. My brother is in Baghdad now serving with all the other brave men and women prtecting the freedoms that we all enjoy. Our troops are ensuring peace for our children and grandchildren. For that I will always be thankful.

Forget? Never! Forgive? Yes. But for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. That is a law of nature and a law of the Spirit. Yep...the Bible says that there is ALWAYS consequences for sin. Three thousand people died at the hands of murderers and their conspirators on 9/11. Murder is sin. There is a consequence for that sin. Sin has consequences even for the forgiven. Not on my say-so...but on God's.
Bad news for Al Quaida and their cohorts...they have screwed the pooch! No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.
For those who have fought for it, freedom has a sweetness the protected will never know.

I remember EVERY time I hear a liberal complain about the Iraq situation...

you think about 9-11 and your brother is in bagdhad?
what does one have to do with the other?
"the troops there ensuring peace for our children and grandchildren."
that fairytale may come true(hopefully), but at this point it is not any more and maybe less likely, than the alternative of this series of actions leading to a constant future reality of terrorism and the abscence of security.
wwe can all say what we wish will be the outcome;but time will tell.not us, or our desire.
so remember....what really is happening and the real causes of the present period of history.
and try not to repeat the same arrogant ego-centric mindset that fostered this in the first place.

Seems to me that the real ongoing anti-terrorist action isn't in Iraq, but Afganistan and Pakistan. We hear very little about it now that Iraq has the focus of the media. And how the hell can we forget? It's ongoing! Those that "complain" about stupidity by our troops don't have to be liberals either. Things happen during the heat of the fight. How did those photos get into the hands of the media anyway? Sleep deprivation,a little slappy-slappy and food shortages are normal wartime fare. However, American female troops enjoying a mixup in an iraqi meat cluster in prison is something else - pretty sad.
If a day went by without a problem - there'ld be a problem.

Wrong question.
Better question why would anyone take pictures of illegal activity? I mean thats like me getting a camcorder and videotaping myself venting some r22. Like someone dont want to cash in on 10 grand.

I have only seen one picture, but I had to wonder if our troups were just trying to SCARE information out of the KNOWN terrorists?
I do NOT condone the action, but we may be jumping to conclusions that are not what it looks like...
Does anyone have a link to other pictures???

"Disturbing photographs"
Yeah - heres your link -http://www.washingtonpost.com. They claim to have about 1000 digital pics. Make sure the kids are out playing somewhere before you sit down to it.
P.s. Lyndie England is makeing quite a name for herself. Unfortunately for her the miliatary doesn't pin medals on soldiers chests for such action. If a day went by without a problem - there'ld be a problem.
