    Man, it's tough out there

Yep, So I made the leap to solo.
The workload has incresed by 100% and the income has all but dried up.
I am staying somewhat busy, but not enough to pay the bills.
I had planned on things being like this for the first year, But I think I'm starting to see a corner to turn ahead. I did manage to pick up a couple of chain restaurants so maybe it will lead to more.

Wish me well or call me a fool
    I'm on my way

Your always gonna be looking for that one BIG job dude .. If you want to stay solo - It's a TWO (2) part system !

    1- ADVERTISING- ( Word of mouth & Newspaper )
2- MONOPOLY - ( What you can do that others can not ) .
    Pick and find something ...!

    "Rock-n-Roll " Ain't noise pollution..

Make sure you charge enough, and talk to these guys here.
Most of them have went through the same things you are going to experience, it isnt pretty , but it can work.
Just dont build a business on a poor business model, you wont make money and neither will your techs.
I wish i knew where to start many times by the time you have it figured out your in a world of hurt and haver to start over.
Problem is, many of your customers arent going to understand the changes you may later implement.
    Join a B.N.I. Chapter asap.

btw i wish you the best
You sure are cocky for a starving pilgrim.

These things take time you will be fine. The day will come when you have to much work. Then your problem will be who do i keep happy first. Maybe target some DQs or Wendy's for that Taylor work.

    Baja:

Direct mailer with bus. card magnets worked well for us; about 3-4% response immediate, but keeps trickling in even years later. Got a call from a restaurant last week I've never worked for. He thought we were his regulars because he had our magnet stuck on something. Haven't mailed any of those things out in 6-7 years. People throw letters and bus. cards away; but the magnets hang around.

1.5 years ago was standing in line at a Mcdonald's 70 miles from home and saw one of those crazy magnets stuck to a piece of equipment behind the counter. Don't know how it got so far from home, but there it was.
