    Ever use Lokring?

    I never actually used it. I attended a class put on by G.E. many years ago when they were going to use Lokring for all refrigerator, freezer and window A/C repairs. The tubing at the connection must be perfectly round. If you prep everything like they say I think it works well. The tool is expensive and so are the fittings.

    Yes our installers used it for about 80% of a large change out of fan coil units. It was a good product however sometimes you just couldn't get that tool into the tight spaces. Two of our guys changed out almost 300 fan coil units.

    Never have used one but I have soldered up some leakers.

    I have used this product on some long pipe run jobs, ideal where whelding is not an option i.e explosive atmosphere
