    Carrier 19XR condenser head removal

Hello everyone. I'm relatively new to servicing Carrier machines and need to start maintenance on a 19XR. What is the best way to rig those condenser heads off the condenser? It's the style with the "ears" on each top corner. I'll have a gantry set up, just unsure what the best way is to attach rigging to the head. Thanks in advance for any help guys!

Hate to do this to you, Johnny, but if you have to ask a question like this, it would be in your best interest to get some help from an experienced mechanic to show you how to do the rigging.

I somewhat agree with klove this is a basic question but we all have to start some ware.

In the plant you should have two flat metal plates and a chain. Slip the plates over the ears, run the chain through the plates and hook up the gantry.

FWIW: These tubes should have been punched several months ago.

Go to the Carrier web site and look up the class schedule and get some training.

And put some information in you’re profile.

See it shows you do have a soft side.

It takes three people to do anything around here. Two do the work, one explains to the crowd of people who showed up when they seen smoke and flames.
