    Solder fixes all leaks!

    At a call yesterday and happen to see this on the water heater. A flex connector that someone tried to solder. Not sure if it was like that from the beginning or if this was a leak fix.

    Had to have been a leak fix. Why else would someone solder a flex tube? You know, since it was so close to the teflon he could've just been bored and was showing off to his buddies. Who knows?

    when I was in high school I had a class mate braze a flare nut and wondered why he couldn't get it tight, I told him then go get a job at mc d's
