Yeah, but just think of the money he saved doing the mechanical inspection himself. If he's still alive he could get a job as a crash test dummy, or "Super Dave."

Did you get a pic of the roof too?

Does the condensor fan blade make any noise? A good service technician with a set of channel locks should be able to straighten that slightly dented cabinet. You probably tried to sell them a new unit. Shame on you, trying to profit unnecessarily.

Do you have to be NATE certified to work on this one?

If the homeowners brother-in-law can get the panels, how much will you charge to repair it? My uncle said it shouldn't cost very much. Change this out and sell the unit on e-bay. Newer, slightly dented, top of the line condensing unit.

Actually, I think if you just rotate it around to the other side it will look just fine.

The landlord is living one of my nightmares. After 80yrs its OK to spend some money to repoint the mortar!
I'm afraid one day I'll knock one over, too, and the HO will want us to patch the thing back together

How do you guys match these things? IOW, how many tons of bricks do you need for a 3-ton condensor? Thanks.
