Carrier Infinity furnance 58CVA90 (circuit board) & Infinity Programmable control

recently I have the main circuit board replaced. This is a four year old furnance installed in Dec 05. The circuit board was replaced once in 2008. Does anyone have similar problems with their circuit board. I think replacing 2 boards within 4 years is a bit too much.

You should have a qualified company in your area (may be someone from this site) come out and take a look at your unit. based on the info given I cant tell anything.

yes, I did on both occasions. the technician was from an authorized dealer of Carrier. An each time there was issues with the furnance control. The last tim was that the furnance could not get the hi heat on long enough . so the unit kept going in low heat and even then it could not attain the set temp. after the circuit board was replace, the furnance worked normally.
