heres a system we just fired up today. this system consits of a wgo-5 weil mclain boiler with two air handlers in attic one of which is a 2 zone system. these units are trane variable speed units with media cleaners and a trane air handler to condition future finished basement. also a weil mclain indirect plus 100 was incorporated, large size was needed to provide all the large shower heads and several large whirpool tubs. two twin 330 gallon oil tanks supply fuel for the heating plant.

Nice job, curious as to why you insulated the duct work if the space is going to be conditioned?

actually the duct is in the unconditioned space. the wall to seperate the area is not in place. but we insulated everything conditioned or unconditioned.

I noticed you used a barometric draft damper on the boiler, how do you like them and why did you use it there?
Very clean work! hats off to that!

i see you are using shutoffs instead of trusting a flow check for the circ's // this install is almost identical to the Buderus going in my house --i'm using a speed header though valves on the supply im using the spirovent/and tank combo valves on the return for balancing //// and a single purge on the manifold looks --good oh yeah the water on the floor is just your imagination//or maybe a preminition damn --------- rubber gaskets
