    Looking for a job any were in the midwest

    Kinda frustrated with my current employer and I am looking for a job. I have experience with com refrig and hvac. I'm looking to go to work for a honest stright forward co. Actually I wouldn't mind re-locating any were in the midwest.

    I think we have an opening in Arkansas. Travel is required. Can drive 3hrs one way for a call. But you get paid windshield time. Plenty of work around here.


    Position Title: Commercial HVAC Service Technician

    Description:

    ACS Commercial Service Technicians service equipment for customers in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Illinois, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Louisiana, Indiana and Iowa. They are responsible for retrofit and repair of
    environmental comfort systems, utilizing knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe
    fitting, and mechanical layouts and controls.

    Responsibilities:


    Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the preventive/predictive
    maintenance and repair of HVAC systems

    Demonstrated experience in efficiently and effectively serving customers by
    answering inquiries and responding to requests

    Capable of successfully executing all field and office tasks including timely
    completion of time sheets, service reports, etc.

    Committed to building a rewarding workplace by treating co-workers and
    customers alike with respect and consideration through the implementation
    of our Shared Values

    Team oriented, willing to serve as a team member by helping others to
    work more effectively and get the job done always exceeding the Customer’
    s expectations

    Goal oriented demonstrated by ability to meet and exceed service

    Able to work overtime as required including weekends, after hours and
    holidays



    Skills Required:


    Valid driver's license

    EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification

    Experience preferred


    Education and/or Experience Required:
    Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
    with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning or; plus one to two
    years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Reports To: Service Manager

    Normal Hours: M-F 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM + overtime when needed

    I repair air conditioners to keep people cool when it's 110+ degrees outside.
    I repair heaters so people don't freeze to death.
    I shut down furnaces that are unsafe to operate.

    hey wildtech. are you in milwaukee? PM and tell me what shop cause I am curious. I use to know a lot of guys in milwaukee.
    People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.

    Yup DOW I work for a shop outa milwaukee but I won't say which one. I don't like bashing co's

    NE Indiana is dead. Ive herd of local companies bidding jobs with only 3% mark up and being told all must rebid...TO HIGH. Good luck in your search.
