It must be somewhat of a pain in the butt because I know of 2 very nice hydronic air handlers that are difficult to get here because they are made in Canada. I think it has something to do with tarriffs or something like that.

I found a truck mounted crane up there that will work for spare parts for my crane. Looks like a big hassel

I have purchased equipment from a Canadian vendor in the past and never had to do anything. They just shipped it to me.

If there was any importing forms, they must have handled it.

I am not sure, I always just get things shipped. Just has lock former shipped here from states. I think in Canada as long as you have a polaroid picture with your name scibbled on the botton is sufficient. if that does not work just tell him you know me!

You need a passport or one of these IDs to reenter the US.

You might want to consult with a UPS or Fedex store, as they know about tariffs.

    Call a broker.
    Personally I would ship it.
If you want to take it across yourself make sure all your paperwork is in order before you go.
If you are flagged at the border it makes it harder to cross on future trips.
    Good Luck
