    yes

no --- Once a person studies and gets to a certain level only limited growth will occur afterwords. I think continuing ed is wonderfu and take as much as the company will offer or allow me time off to take. Company bennefits more than the tech does. The tech wont bennefit until they recieve immediate raises from the test and as it stands it is difficult to get them to commit to that.

-Do you think Nate should be enforced at all, somehow??

-Is it really helping anyone other than those making money off it.

    My answer:
    NO &
    NO
NATE is NOT enforced, it is voluntary. Wording a poll to get results when based upon false information is a waste of time dice. Hell looks like you had madeinusa type out the question for you!
No, I have been over here working, Diceman can handle himself I am sure.

When the voters speak in any process, there will always be nasayers.

I know, lets keep it that way. By enforced I mean Mfgs, and what not insisting you have it, which they will never do anyway, that's all, don't have a cow, just vote.

    2. yes, anyone who studies for and passes a test pertinent to his trade will always benefit.
    3. I'm not sure, though I do serve on one of the NATE technical committees. Just recently took and passed the RSES CM exam for amusement which probably grandfathers me. I presumably passed the refrigeration CMS exam (awaiting results).
    4. does someone think my Roswell comment amusing?

Is it fair to say that the people who have taken the test support it and approve it and the people who have not taken the test do not like it?

    Thanks

#2 yes [ for contractors, manufactures and the people who run Nate]

I'm Nate Certified and have my
    C.M from RSES

RSES has had the C.M.[Certificate Member]
    CMS [Certificate Member Specialist]
and NTC [ National Tech Cert] for years, personally I think they carry more weight.
