FX40 points - slot view
I would like to hide some of the options in the Action pull down of a writable point. Previous posts indicate it is done by modifying the action items in the point slot sheet. How do you access the slot sheet. The slot sheet does not show in the navigation menu (upper right) pulldown nor does it show in the views pull down.
Thanks

Are you accessing using workbench or a web browser?

Does your controller have embedded workbench? If you can do logic through the web interface then it does. If you have embedded workbench do you know if your login is a super user?
I can't remember off the top of my head but I'll do some quick tests tomorrow and see if I can access the slot view through the web on a computer withouth workbench.

Yes it is embedded workbench accessible via web browser. I have done logic programming with it using some of the kitcontrol modules. I am setup as role=administrator and permissions=superuser. This is a JCI workbench version.

It should be accessible through the web. Give this a shot, don't know if it will work though:
In the IE address bar paste the following after the ord location
|view:workbench:SlotSheet
I'll load a controller up in the office and see what I can get.

In the UserService ...change your "Web Profile" to Default wb web profile...from the extremely gay JCI web appliance profile.
Restart the browser ...then you should see the slot views.

Thanks. Changing the profile to default did the trick when accessing with a web browser. What I also noticed when I had access to workbench and a saved station is I couldn't see the point slot view with wb 1.2 no matter what I tried but I could see the point slot view accessing the saved station with wb pro 1.2 with either jci or default web profile. Really quirky.
