Robo,
I think it is good for christians to view and to meditate on the violence and torture Christ went thru willingly for all mankind. No it is not a movie a nonbeliever would get much out of. But it is a powerful reminder to believers of the love of Christ.

Jesus teaches love and compassion for one another. If we love one another as Jesus loves us we cannot help but follow the Fathers ten commandments now can we. Maybe the graphics were needed for impact on those who were to later see Jesus alive and in the flesh once more but I for one believe in Him by His words of compassion and love.
I just felt the movie went over the top with the gore is all. Certainly not the image I want youth to have of Jesus.Government is a disease......masquerading as its own cureEcclesiastes 10:2 NIV
