Tjernlund venting question. Help please!
I just viewed a newer 80% multi position furnace installed in the counterflow position that vents straight down into the crawlspace (4') and then runs approx. 6' horizontally to get to a Tjernlund sidewall vent fan kit that then vents approx. 4' to the exterior of the home. Does not seem correct and Tjernlund is closed for the weekend. Their PDF's do not address this. Anyone have an answer if this can be done. The manufacturer literature says no but does not address a 2nd vent fan. Can the fan superscede this? Thanks

Can't give advice here... read the unit install manual, contact the AHJ (authority having jurisdiction) Gas inspector/building inspector.
