How much blood do I have to bathe in to get clean?

Don't look down on anyone unless you're helping them up.

Ask OSHA and your insurance company for the biggies, if they'll tell you. Injuries are not so credible unless they show up in lab tests, but death is pretty non-ambiguous.

One for a high spot on the list
    HEATSTROKE
Very bad news and some folks never can take the heat again afterwards.
Also how about scalding from boilers and humidifiers.
Falling asleep behind the wheel after loooong day or late night service call.
Plus working industrial all the hazards of the job site.

Burnt yes.... quite often..... tight space, braze line, trying so hard not to touch one line, you touch another.... yep, grabbed the wrong end of the stick, only.. oh 3 or 4 times. you'd think I learned by the second!

Snakes have never given me a problem.

I've never seen anyone injured by a snake in the HVAC trade here in NC, but I've seen em injure themselves trying to get away from the snake.... or snakeskin..... or abandoned waterhose.... yeeesh.

You people with snake phobia's are funny!

Thats why I like clear vapor bariers.. you can see whats under em.

Put my hand down on a mole once, under black plastic. That was.......... interesting.....

I've run into a few possums.... man, there is no dumber critter than a possum.
You can litterally poke em in the eye with a stick and all they do is hiss at ya.

    Big, dumb, rats.

OH, BTW.... HVAC tech must be imune to cruddy contamination... we must be getting protien from it.

I mean really..... pull a mouse out of a blower wheeel, dig out rust and soggy dirt from a Draft inducer housing, brush away spider webs and dead bugs, dig into the moldy mildewed dirt at the airhandler to make a notch for your shoulder/elbow. hip etc in that low crawl...... then go eat a burrito from Taco Bell, and dont even think about washing your hands until the sauce runs down yer wrist and cleans a streak through the grime LOL..... OOOPS!! "Lord Jesus please bless and sanctify this food that I've partially consumed, as well as the dirt that went down with it, thank you lord!".

    Noxious glue and primer vapors.

    Phosgene gas.

Sitting on chimneys running liner kits.

RTUs close to the edge with no guard rails.

Busted roof hatches that can bust your head.
Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people.
