    10k3A1 Thermistor for Underfloor Heating

    Hi,

I am looking for a sensor to measure the floor temperature of screed underneath High Quality finished floors.

We have a small plastic duct/pipe run under the screed and exiting flush.
Ideally I would like a very slim disc or else a little brass sensor approx 5mm sq in profile that we can wire and then push down flush to the floor at the top of the duct.

Needs to be 10k3A1 Thermistor. I am in the UK which is a bit off beam for you guys but the usual routes over here don't give anything special.

    Many Thanks in advance!

I typically have ACI make a custom bullet sensor that has a 25' or 50' cable on it. Then just shove it into a conduit buried in the slab. They are pretty cheap for 10K sensors.

Never had to get anything too fancy for just slab temp.

For snowmelt we use the Tekmar 090 sensor and tie it into our controls. Seems like nobody makes a good moisture / slab temp sensor other than Tekmar, which is a pricey little bugger.

Try 'Fortune UK' they have their own metal shop, etc - and specialise in bespoke BMS devices.

I'm sure they can make you anything you want.

    Thank you all!
Control Loopy: I am waiting to hear back from Mr Fortune and fullly endorse them as a company.

Ducthman: Dank u zeer. Spoedig ga ik mijn Zuster in Holland zien.

I have looked at patsy and orions too and have plumped for a pretty standard 10k3a1 from Sontay that we can embed.
This is not an exact science, after all!

    Regards,
