    EVEN BEARING WEAR

Didn't you guys get the service bulletin on EVEN BEARING WEAR and keeping the coils clean?

It stated, you simply leave the reversing wires protruding above the surface line of the trailing edge of the blade for safety reasons in order to enable the switching of blade rotation on a weekly basis. Thus, by doing so, you backflush dirt out of the coil and provide EVEN BEARING WEAR on the fan motor........LOL..trying to catch my breath here

    Talking

Come on now! at least they taped up the terminals and the condenser air keeps the capacitor preheated for faster starts causing less strain on the motor for longer service.

Is that duct tape UV rated?
We've been doing so much, for so long, with so little, that now we can do almost anything, with nothing at all.

Frickin moron that did that should be shot. I was electrocuted once by a hitting a capacitor once to point I had exit burns. I love techs that dont know how to wire 4 wire motors for 3 wire.

I've run into units like that. I bet under the hood you will find a regular blower motor, not a condenser fan motor. (you know, sealed)
