    ox tail stew

    Made my first batch today...basically beef stew but u use the tail. BEST ever....very tender beef. My dog thinks i am a god also, the last vertebra is part of the tail.

    Any other recipes for this tender meat?

    Just a variation, try making Oxtail soup, make the Stew then let it cool, take meat off bones and chop really fine. liquidize any veg in stew, add a little extra stock or water put bones back in and bring back up to a boil. Enjoy with buttered crusty rolls or put in a Thermos flask instead of coffee on a cold morning.

    The dogs will still think you are a god!
