The best way to get out of a bad situation is to not get into one in the first place. I would of walk away as well.

Looks like what some of my customers bring home from auctions... "they said it was running when they shut it down"... right.

Is that CPR valve standard from the factory, or an add-on?Experience is what you have an hour after you need it.

I'd walk away as well but it seems like somebody tried to go cheap with a smaller compressor and use the CPR to keep the compressor running in harvest.
It works. But slows down the cycle time.
It's a shame but that unit would prolly in it's current condition last longer than a new unit.We the willing, led by the unknowing, for the ungratefull, have done so much for so long with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.
Refrigeration is all the same weather your making Ice, refrigerating or freezing the product.
