Lennox Fireplace Question

Hi,

I am posting here because I could not find a catagory that was for fireplaces. We have a MPD3530CNM that I have an FBK-100 blower kit on order for. I was looking at my FP and was wondering, can this blower be installed by inserting it in to the box containing the controls by removing the lower grate, or do I need to remove the screen, logs, etc. and lower it into the box? Thanks for any help.

I found those directions earlier, but I want to eliminate having to pull out all of the grate, logs, etc. if I can. That's why I'm wanting to see if anyone knows if it can be slid in by removing the lower louver. It looks like I may have to remove the control panel inside the lower box, but that would probably be easier than going in from the top, in my case anyway.

It is much easier to put it in from the top like the instructions say. You may be able to install it from the bottom, but it will take 3 times longer.
