I'd ask the customer to get an electrician who knows power quality to check it out, or offer to bring one in, at his cost.

Would still like to know if the pool cover motor shared any voltage lines with the air handler motor or do each have a dedicated line and breaker back in the panel.

The Dry-air unit is fed by a small breaker panel which divides its 80 A feed into two breakers. I will find out what feeds that 80 A main and regard any reference to the pool cover feed. I'm not sure if the pool cover made the cut to be included in the generator panel, but I know that the Dry-air unit did, minus the stage two compressor which is interlocked out in the event that back up power is required.

Could be that sub-panel going bad. Some brands (I don't know which) are notorious for being bad. If the pool motor gets power from it in any way also I'd look hard at the sub-panel.

don't all electrical items have common voltage lines? at least up to the transformer they do regardless if they have a separate circuit breaker or not.

I guess (at least for you) I should have been more specific and stated do they share any lines after the main elect panel. Fruecrue guessed (no big leap) what I meant & made mention of the 80 amp sub-panel where the motor in question gets its power. He is going to see if the pool cover motor also gets its power either directly from this panel or is tied into it at some point to see if this sub-panel is the source of the problem.

    Panel schedule (x2)

A panel schedule would be nice ( plan/actual installation)
