How much moisture do you need to remove? Was it the size of your a/c? At the end of the cooling/dehumidifing cycle, the Hmdtrl has 4-5 Lbs. of moisture on the cooling coil. As the a/c coil dries between cycles, the moisture slowly evaporates back into your home, rehumidifying it. This reactivates the dehumidistat removing the moisture back onto the coil. This process repeats over and over. Better to have a smaller better sized dehumidifier that does not retain so much moisture. Also there are more reliable dehumidifiers than the Lennox, made by Aprilaire. Regards TB
