    Smile refections

Well 2009 is coming to a close. Looking back it’s been a hard year, but I have to say in many ways it was good year.
At the end of September I finished my last cancer treatment. Last Friday I had another surgery and the result were benign. I still alive, I lean thing I never would have learn if it were for my cancer and having to go through 164 treatments in a year. I have made friends that I would never have made.
Life whether it be another 40 to 50 years or another 2 to 5 years is a day by day gift. I’ll admit there are some days you’re sure it a gage gift or a cure joke of a gift. But it is still a gift.
I’m going to most likely see my 46th birthday in January and spend other day with my wife and son. There is something to be grateful for.
I am luckier than many. What I learn this year (year and a half) is to use cancer to make your life better because it might be as long as you hope for.
Looking Back It has been “A Wonderful Life”. Sometimes it takes the thought of losing it to make us see that.

Thanks to many member and Friend for H-talk for helping me make it through this year.

Bret, sometimes we have to face a threat of losing the things we love in order to truly appreciate them.

This trial has given you a perspective that few may have. This has made you a better man, and everyone you know will benefit from this experience.

Bless you, and continue to pay it forward. This really IS "A Wonderful Life."

I have met few real men. But what I know of them, and I try like hell to emulate, is the fact that in order to be a real man, one must be brave and face the unknown with uncommon valor.

I don't know you. I wish I could get to. But from what I have witnessed of you and about you, that you are certainly in my estimation and everyone that I know here a true measure of a Man. God bless you and god be with you.
