Went to shut ahu down and found this beauty, used to shove main into place, without it, no power.
Damm rear of breaker cracked/melting.
I doubt the slumlord will replace whole panel, just chisel melted plastic off and ask around if anybody has a used main.

I've noted on my ticket plenty of times. "Found extremely dangerous XXXXXX. Will not work on system for liability reasons. XXXXX must be repaired before returned to fix AC"

In reality if thats a heat pump with aux heat you could be the reason the house burns down.
