    GFK-160A Fan Kit Installation

We have a Heat & Glo FB-IN gas insert without a fan. I would like to add the GFK-160A fan kit. I'm trying to determine if I need to remove the entire insert to install the fan. Or if it will slide in beside the control panel. I haven't ordered the fan yet since the installation effort is a determining factor.

Has anyone installed this fan kit in an already installed insert before?

The fan is installed from the rear of the insert. If the unit has been installed you will need to pull it. Sorry

Yeap, I tell every customer, if you think you want a fan better get it now, or its going to be twice as much later when we have to yank the fireplace out to install it.
