So my 5 month old German Shepherd puppy decided to bite the air outlet that was plumed out to the exterior siding of the house. In addition to biting the outlet (Vent) she decided to pull it out which in turn she tool the aluminum vent out with it.
So I don't start my HVAC school until January, but I figured maybe this would be something good for me to do myself since it's only an outlet and not an actual gas line or anything serious. (I Have never run my gas fireplace ever since I've owned the place)
With that in mind, my question is this: AFTER I kick the dog (Just Kidding) how do I access the pipe?
- Remove the insert to access it from inside the house?
- Cut a hole in the exterior siding ? (Seems drastic)
- Crawl underneath the house ?
WTF over . . .
