Honeywell LON
I may be asked to change some night setback stuff on a Honeywell LON system that is about six years old. Can I get in with something like LONmaker or will I need some OEM software?
I have not had my fingers in any Honeywell LON stuff. This one is just a few rooftops and some hydronic zones, just controllers and stats networked together, with maybe a router.
Any comments, warnings and/or threats would be appreciated.

Re:Honeywell LON
Randy,
The answer very much depends on how the Honeywell system is configured.
If it has been configured in CARE as 'Open LON' then you may be lucky and find a SNVT to Write to. If not, then your a little stuck.
You will need to identify some of your control devices to give us any more clues I'm afraid.

Keith is right. We need to know WHAT Honeywell devices you are working with. Also, what front end system you have.

Well, I got in today and adjusted some setback settings.
Ethernet crossover cable, and the right IP and password, and I'm in.
This is the Niagra/Tridium stuff.
I could change schedules, but how do you tell the damn thing what day of the week it is?
