Are you talking about a Council-certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC)? If so, make sure you have the necessary time in grade, then pay your money and take the test: http://www.acac.org/about/ciec.htm

there's a guy in my neck of the woods, and i ran across a job that he had done. whatever it is that he does, besides point out obvious things that are common sense to me.

as i read through his report and looked at all the funny pictures at the end, i saw his name with the CIEC after it and another acronym, but i don't remember what the second one was...

anyways, if you mention the "m" word (mold) it seems like these guys are always around to offer obvious solutions and point out the obvious problems.
