Dryer Surface Rust Question
Hi my Heat Pump is just a little over 1 year old and I noticed that the dryer paint has a crack and surface rust has appeared where the dryer is clamped down should this be a concern ? And if so what kind of action should I take . If it needs paint what kind of paint should I use ?? Thankyou

Nothing to be concerned about. If it bothers you brush the rust off with a wire brush and squirt it with some Rustoleum. Just be sure to pick a pretty color!
The picture in my avatar is of the Houston Ship Channel and was taken from my backyard. I like to sit outside and slap mosquitos while watching countless supertankers, barges and cargo ships of every shape and size carry all sorts of deadly toxins to and fro. It's really beautiful at times.....just don't eat the three eyed fish....

once the rust starts it wont stop and will eventually rust through the dryer and cause it to leak
as was said clean it and spray it with rustoliem and check it from time to time
