Here we go with that letter again! Duct cleaning if done correctly can take two guys around 5 to 8 hours to do.

I work for a company called Airstream in Anchorage and I can tell you first hand (been working here for several months now) that it takes me and another guy, basically two people, 3 1/2 hours in the summer time to do a typical air duct cleaning duct job. In the winter time it takes us 4 1/2 hours! I think my boss Rudy usually charge $ for a typical job on an average sized house. If you have the tools you can really make bank with this business. A friend of mine was going to buy the business from him but he couldn't get the financing.

That is moving! Takes about an hour to clean the coil, pull the blower and clean and clean inside of the AHU. Takes about another hour to set up. Then another to clean up and leave. That,s 3 hours and we have not touched the duct yet.

    Typical Duct Job

    To: "DRK"

Yeah that is why I said two people! If you try to do a duct job with only one person than it is going to take you all day. Not worth it at all dude. Especially in the winter time...one duct job could take more than a day with just one person.
