Hello all.
How's it going everybody, I stumbled across this site while looking for info on EPA certification and seeing that I am just getting started to becoming a HVAC tech ( I just started school) I thought I would join the forum. Looks like a great site with a lot of knowledgeable people here. I look forward to being able to join in on some discussions as soon as I learn more. I am just now getting into the Nature of Electricity. So I hope you don't mind if I lurk around a bit. Justin

LOL why not, they still need heat, for the winter season. I'm from northern Michigan and now live in Florida.

Justin, what school are you in for your certificate? I started in August and I'm already about done and ready for my HVAC and EPA certificate. I'm schooling online with pennfoster.edu

Yeah we have HVAC here, it's about the only type of work that is stable right now. This is going to be a big career change for me, I was in shipping and receiving and I shipped out plumbing , heating and cooling parts. Our hours were cut drastically so I figured I will take advantage of the time off and actually get into a career. I decided not to trust what jobs that are available and get into something that is universally used. My family and I have decided that when my daughter is 3 years old we are going to move from Michigan hence my career choice.

Ok I will keep that in mind. I really appreciate it. I had trouble with formulas. I haven't used that stuff in 12-13 years. I took the exam and got a 92%. Surprised myself, but I study it for awhile. Justin
