    : America's Healthiest And Unhealthiest States
    This annual ranking, published by the United Health Foundation, looks at 22 indicators of health, including everything from how many children receive recommended vaccinations, to obesity and smoking rates, to cancer deaths. (Insurer UnitedHealth Group funds the foundation.) Scores for each state are determined by gathering data from a variety of government and nongovernmental databases and then calculating how much each state is better or worse than the national average for each measure.

    All the New England states are in the top ten healthiest, four of them in the top ten for least obese persons ... That kind of scares me seeing how many obese people there are around here (Massachusetts) and we are one of the best ...

    I'm proud to say I'm not the unhealthiest, but I am the fattest, if I read that correctly. It's real nice to be the best at something for a change.......

    I tried to fix the list on my post and could not, so here is the best and worst top ten and bottom ten. Again I will say, if we here in Massachusetts are third from best I worry about the rest of the country ... there sure are a lot of oversized folks around here ... hey maybe they are only visiting ...
