When the kids where little we watched Casablanca (one of my favorites) and when they get up and start singing to stop the Germans from singing I told the kids how emotional that was for people at the time ... it gets me going a little too.

There is another one I'm not remembering the name right now ... maybe the raft or the boat ... something like that. It's where the boat is sunk by a U-boat and it is sunk to and they pull a couple of germans into the life raft and things go bad for a while ... till the end ... and then a happy ending.

William Bendix (sp) was in it.

I bet during the war people got up and cheered the ending ... I'll see if I can find a link to it.
