I'm thinking TM8V with one of those. Or with a different HP maybe I can get the tax credit. I like the adjustable continuous low fan speeds on the TM8V.

Does York have any incentives going?

I like the selectable continuous low fan speeds on the TM8V. The VS G jumper setting would probably be fine (50% of HI-COOL), but do you think the LO-COOL setting can be selected for the continuous fan even if the condensor is single stage? The manual doesn't say it can't, so my guess is that it can. The furnace doesn't know whether the HP is 1 or 2 stage anyway.

    Yep. The furnace doesn't care.

That would give me a choice of setting continuous fan speed to VS-G or LO-COOL, or even LO-HEAT, if the VS-G is a little too slow. Since I have no idea what it will take to effectively circulate the air in my house on those 60F days when the furnace hardly ever runs (or 80F days when the AC hardly ever runs), it's nice to have an option.

I guess the correct York model is YM8V.

BTW, the low continuous fan on the Heil (and all ICP clones) 80% variable is LO-HEAT only. For my size furnace that would be about 1000CFM, with no other options, so the Heil is off my list.
