    Heinz is there? Oh Boy!

I wanna tell them to put tomatoe paste in little 1 oz packets just like McD's does. Every recipe I make calls for 2 oz tomatoe paste and I have to open a whole can and throw the rest away..... or leave it out. I normally choose #2 and squirt in some ketchup.

Talking I will take care of all that.......

Here is what I am planning. We need to pick a date in the next couple months, I am thinking late July-mid August. Biz slows down for most by then and it will be on a weekend so no biggie there, plus we need nice weather here and that is always a good month.
OK here is the deal. There is nice motel 5 minutes from me, I can get group rates there I think, it is a good place, been to weddings there and dinner. Very convienant from turnpike and major parkway here. Try to get in on a Friday afternoon or early evening. We meet there, you can get shuttles from the airport as well. We have a few drinks and I will get a giant limo to meet us there around 8-9. My son gets them all the time for his group, big ones that hold like 25 people, only cost about $45 per person for the entire night, they take us to the city and various places we want to go. We have a blast, no one has to drive and we return to motel around 2am. We can rent 2 of them if need be, whatever.
OK, good so far. For those of you who don't drink, please come as well, and please bring your sig other, there is lots to see and do here as well. Now, since most of you have to travel and will spend money doing so, I have conferred with the big CEO of Pennwood, my dear wife, and on Saturday we will have the picnic at my house. Yep, right here, I have a big, private back yard. We will have the food catered of course.
On sat morning some of you, Robo for example, come here we go get the kegs of beer, soda and whatever and set up. Thats why ya need to stay at the motel close to me, things will work out easier for rides and such.
On Sat, I will teach yinz how to play beer pong and shoot bb guns. Other games will be decided on too.
That will save lots of money. So all ya need is to get here, pay for 2 nights in motel, and I will get a rate I'm sure, pay for some entertainment and such, and chip in for food catering. by Sunday we will be sick of each other and you can all go home Or hang around and sight see some if ya want. Possible brunch somewhere first.
Those of you who wish to hit the titty bars can work that in somewhere I'm sure. So this is gonna happen this year, you have time, start checkin for mid august and plan your vaca accordingly. You won't forget this one, so be here.

Dice, I am thrilled that you are stepping up and making this happen. You are very considerate in acknowledging the non-drinkers as well and as we know there are a lot of them too.

If any body can do it, you can. Fantastic!!

Your plan sounds great, very practical and workable, just what one would expect from an owner of a small business, like so many of us here.

    Thank you!!

This sounds like a real possibility. I'll probably be driving there, so I'll have to pick that 3 minute seminar up on video at a later date. Would'nt want to have to tire myself out sitting through it before the big night out.
If some of you Michiganders or Ohio folk need a ride let me know.

How come no "can-do's" from any of you southern boys?

Well, that does it. Count me in. As soon as a date is set I will put in a request chit for leave and take 3-4 days off. The wife will have vacation time by then too so we'll be travelling together. I'll keep an eye out for the date. Thanks much to Dice for all the arranging. Hope to meet many of you in person.

No name tags. Do we just intro ourselves with our screen names. I will do what I can to make it, unfortunately that time of year is not our slow time and bein' a one man and a truck start up it may be tough, but I will do everything I can to be there. May have to fly if I can't carpool with anyone goin' that way. Lookin' forward to it.

If some can't make it maybe we can organize regional conventions to take place throughout the year. Sounds like Dice might be the Northeast Regional Director. Maybe we can contribute to the Annual Regional Convention Fund( thruogh our association dues), which will be invested(in the stockmarket of course) to pay for this party, err, vacation, err, Convention. Hello...
