About that million dollar sports car.

Many of you probably heard the story about the schmuck in Texas that put his Bugatti in a salt marsh. He claimed a low flying pelican and a dropped cell phone caused the accident. He should have stuck with the cell phone excuse. A video now surfaced, and there is no pelican to be seen.

    The news article: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091113/...lagoon_bugatti

    The video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32yyvmlGOdo

What a bunch of goof ball theories and comments on that site! Some are legit, but some other comments make you wonder if mom left the computer on before leaving her 12 year old home alone.

1001 HP. What can you say? Well, most people wouldn't have made it to the salt marsh. I can't tell you how many Vipers, Lotus, and Ferrari's I've seen at the insurance auctions with front end damage. One thing for sure after working on Botes, the "Bug" is Totaled after going in the drink.

I've got 2 of those cars. Not that fast. My Gremlin would smoke it.

They have someone in my area that has a Bentley sports car. Loves to tailgate you, even if you are over the speed limit and turn his brights on. I keep wondering what kind of Retirement plan he has for me, if I have to brake for a Deer.

Someone should just slam on the brakes for the hell of it and say they saw a squirrel.

I think I read the owner was from East Texas somewhere.
