I have no idea, but where I've had similar problems, I throw a capacitor (like 50 uf) across the input and it usually fixes it.
I have a DPT connected to a HW NDIO module, the value of the input jumps high and low in less time than it takes to say it. I called the manuf. and asked about possible causes, he asked if the NDIO had capacitive filtering on the UI. I called our supplier to see if he could find out. He's making calls, but I thought I'd ask you guys if you know about the UI's construction. Is capacitive filtering used by this hardware? TIA,
