Buzzing sound in gas furnace
Homeowner, ex HVAC helper. I have an old GE "gas fired warm air furnace". As soon as the thermostat kicks the unit on, there is a loud buzzing noise thats seems to be coming from the part pictured below. Other than the noise, the heat is working fine, but the noise was not there a week ago. The buzzing turns off before the blower stops. Is this something I need to have someone in to look at or is this something I can handle my self?

if you understand a little about furnaces you could probably handle pulling the blower assembly out and give it a thorough cleaning. there could be something caught up in there. give that a try. if it does not work i would have someone come out and check it out
