Up to my eyeballs in new installs and service calls...............
I'm typically always busy. Each month since March my volume has slowed. Others in this area have been laying off. The only shops that I know of that are still going full blast are the large shops that have large jobs that were sold for installation this year. So they are living off a backlog of work with not too many new jobs coming in.

Last 5 weeks extremely busy. This week, very busy but able to keep up.
I'm taking a 4 day weekend this week to catch up on my beauty sleep
I love the smell of phosgene first thing in the morning:

Must be nice...How long would it take me to commute from the Ambassador Bridge to Howell everyday.. only about a 1/2 hour I bet. Heck I would use my own vehicle to do the service calls in...I am getting out the razor blades and scraping the lettering off of it right now...lol
Swamped? No. It's been steady, and I think it will pick up.
We do commercial, and for a few months we had a slight reduction compared to last year as retail retracted into a profit and loss hole. For example, we have one store with two units, 15 year old Carrier RTU's. Last year, one was taken out of heating service due to corrosion of the HX and related parts. Yesterday, I found the other unit can no longer be producing heat for the same reason. Now, at least one will have to be repaired.
Other stores that have been putting off repairs will be stepping up soon, as the numbers released today bode for a better quarter or two than the bloodbath that had been expected.

Yup, Just the other side of the bridge..
Routinely head over and spend my hard earned $$ downriver shopping in Taylor, Southgate or Woodhaven.....either that or head North and hit Madison Heights, Troy or Sterling Heights....Andiamo's is the best.
We sometimes get adventurous and take the extra 1/2 hour or so and head all the way to GLC in Auburn Hills, but if you go that far u might as well keep going and hit Birch Run too....
Gawd, can you tell my wife shops to death!!!lol
Slow here in Pa. One month I'm steady the next I'm holding down the couch. I'm moving to Michigan.
1 day off in the last 90, turning down work because of schedule conflicts and the future looks worse. Alot of government initiated commercial projects going on right now. People with real money(cash not equity) are helping by building or remodeling.
