Try your local Servicefirst(Trane) or Totaline(Carrier) parts centers. You can call York parts direct 866-222-9675 (parts ID) and 800-932-1701 (parts order) and set up an accout with them if you don't already have one.

You should always go to the manufacturer or an authorized distributor for parts. You'll pay more, but have the peace of mind they will stand behind it.

It takes three people to do anything around here. Two do the work, one explains to the crowd of people who showed up when they seen smoke and flames.

Chillco Inc out of New Orleans area sells genuine factory parts for all brands at better prices than the mfr`s every time. Check their website for contact info. Ask for Frank or Jason.

    should be easier

Trane: there are essentially three options. 1) Your local Trane parts center provided price is no object. 2) Midwest Parts is a good alternate but who knows for how long. 3) Tarrant parts if you aren't hung up on the whole OEM thing.

Carrier: Totaline (or the equivalent) can only help you with 30 series chillers. Everything else (17, 19, & 23 series) has to go through RCD.

    York: York International.

    McQuay: Local McQuay Rep.

    Hope this is helpful...

Ditto on Chillco, they have helped us out immensely with parts. Frank is good to work with too.
