Hori-upflow-zontal?
During the last 4 years we've done several hundred inspections for insurance companys.
This home had three furnaces just like this one installed by large contractor all in the same manner at the same time.

Hori-upflow-zontal?
I would go back and look up to see who the mechanical inspector was.
Just another reason why inspectors aren't the answer to insuring proper installations.
Those who dance, appear insane to those who do not hear the music.
Those who believe, appear ignorant to those who do not know God.
No permit had been pulled, as is the case with most of the pictures I will post. Almost all are replacement, not new install.

What is that thing? Inshot burners? How well do they shoot down?
In are area you have to pull a permit to replace a oil or gas system.if not the company could get fined. Those installers were typyical did not read the installation instructions.
Don't you know that they came out with Down Shot burners.Originally posted by BaldLoonie

Is that FLEX gas line running TIGHT and thru the metal hole on the furnace? That's another no-no!
Who knows. Maybe the burners will work fine just like that.
What a fricking joke tho. Musta learned how to install from the typical Phoenix installer! Sh*tty Sh*tty!
Well atleast they used double wall pipe to connect the flue uncle Reub would still be proud
Izzat..... conduit strap?..... with aluminum duct tape... supporting the unit????
It will fit better if we turn it like this. Yeah just use the old gas line. It's OK
Looks more like a hori-downflo-zontal.Originally posted by themadpiper

We've been doing so much, for so long, with so little, that now we can do almost anything, with nothing at all.
