    FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) ―
The sheriff who said he believed a couple was being honest when they reported their son was set adrift on a homemade helium balloon now says criminal charges will be filed in the incident.

Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden didn't say Saturday night what the charges would be, but he did say the parents, Richard and Mayumi Heene, aren't under arrest.

The Heenes spent much of the afternoon at the sheriff's office and were headed home where they were expected to speak to reporters.

I have been working non stop all week and so I have been hearing about this in bits and pieces from radio news and people. So this AM I read and watched all the news on it. If you ask me, the guy is a little nuts. Appears normal in still picture but then live he is a bit nutty. And the actions are fake. I thought it was obvious.

He is certifiable. And he's teaching his kids it's okay to lie to get what you want. His attitude is a big part of what's wrong with the nation.

In that case you missed your calling.
Seems like the first choice for personality disorders for world leaders according to a CIA psych guy [Jerrold Post] is narcissistic.

He'll have to sell the baloon on Ebay to pay the bill from all the first responders.

And now a physics guy says that a balloon of that size could not have lifted a 37# kid.

Remember that guy who floated up to 10,000' in a lawn chair? I think he had quite a few balloons lifting him.

I even heard supposedly some internet pranksters ordered a Papa Johns pizza to the house of the balloon kid. 3 Pepperoni pizzas totaling 44 bucks or something like that LOL!

So maybe this balloon thing 11 years before was a thinly disguised suicide attempt.
