Were you the fat guy carrying the flag toward the end?
Looked like a good call to me. If they never blew the whistle then the play is still live. See here in Cincy we know the art of cheating and are very good at it.

How did the refs blow it? The ball didn't cross the scrimmage line and was never downed. It's a live ball.
He who controls the ball controls the game.No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.
For those who have fought for it, freedom has a sweetness the protected will never know.

OK, here it is ...
One. after the block the place kick holder picks up the ball and doing so puts his knee to the ground, play over.
Two. While his knee is on the ground and he is in possession of the ball one of the defensive players touches him, play over.
Three. Before he picks up the ball one of the defensive players lands on it, that may have been enough to down the ball.
Four. The one that absolutely should of stopped the play, after the kid picks up the ball and is just standing there the coach and others run out onto the playing field and start yelling for him to run. Once they set foot on the field there should of been a penalty ... thus ending the game.
Five. to a lesser degree it appeared that one of the ref's signaled the play over.
Now the kids know to play until the whistle blows.

1 and 2. Dang. Video removed. I was gonna go back and see if the PK holder picked up the ball or just touched it. Oh, well.
3. I distinctly remember no defensive player falling on it but rather it squirted back under the holder's legs.
4. I don't think a penalty can end a game. It would be an offensive penalty so if the defensive team declines, the play stands as played. If they accept, the penalty is assessed and the down is replayed.
5. I missed it. And appearances can be deceiving. No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.

Just found the video again on guzer.com. Difficult to be positive but it appears the placekick holder #87 raises his knee just before picking up the ball, making it live.
As to coach on the field, well, he has to be caught. It ain't illegal if ya ain't caught. And once the ball breaks the plane of the goal line, it's a dead play.
Refs blew it? Maybe. Maybe not.No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.
